Collection File Lillie is one of two Collection Files to be released in conjunction with upcoming Pokémon TCG set Battle Partners [SV9] on 24 January 2025; the other of the two is Collection File N. Collection File Lillie will come with a promotional Lillie’s Comfey card.

About Lillie’s Comfey (SV-P Promotional Cards 199/SV-P)

The promotional Lillie’s Comfey card in Collection File Lillie is a promotional version of a card from Battle Partners [SV9]. What this card has that makes it stand out from its non-promotional counterpart is the special holofoil it has; the Lillie’s Comfey card from Battle Partners [SV9] doesn’t have this holofoil pattern.

An element of this card that should serve as a major draw is the fact that the Pokémon shown is owned by Lillie, a major character from seventh-generation main series Pokémon video games Pokémon Sun and Moon. Although Lillie herself isn’t in the illustration, her face can be seen on the right of the card; this should provide the card with an indirect version of the usual value boost afforded by female characters. In addition, although this card isn’t likely to be metagame-relevant, Comfey does have something of a reputation within the current meta as the Fairy-type Pokémon is a key piece of the Lost Zone Box deck.

Release Details

There isn’t yet any information on this card’s English launch. Additionally, the price of this Lillie’s Comfey (SV-P Promotional Cards 198/SV-P) card will only be known after the first copies start being sold in the open market. Stay tuned for further details on that.
