Many of the cards in Premium Pack 2025 are taken from one of the various Yu-Gi-Oh manga series—fitting because Premium Pack 2025 was distributed at Jump Festa 2025, this year’s edition of a Shueisha-run shōnen animanga convention. Shueisha is the publishing company that publishes V Jump magazine where these manga series are published. Motor Kaiser, a card taken from manga series Yu-Gi-Oh R, is one of the cards in question.

About Motor Kaiser (Premium Pack 2025 25PP-JP001)

Like many of the illustrations of cards from Premium Pack 2025, the illustration of Motor Kaiser is directly taken from a manga panel. In Chapter 34 of Yu-Gi-Oh R, one panel shows Bandit Keith summoning this card as part of his duel against Jonouchi. It’s the artwork from that panel which was reproduced to create the illustration for this card. As such, Yu-Gi-Oh TCG fans who got into the TCG via Yu-Gi-Oh R are most likely to be interested in this card.

One of the cover cards of Premium Pack 2025, Motor Kaiser is among the cards with the longest timespan between its debut in a Yu-Gi-Oh manga or anime series and its real-life TCG debut. Motor Kaiser’s first appearance in Yu-Gi-Oh R occurred way back in February 2007 but had never shown up on a real card until the launch of Premium Pack 2025.

The latest prices show that a Secret Rare Motor Kaiser (Premium Pack 2025 25PP-JP001) card costs 2,000 JPY (~US$13).
