[Update 4 Apr 2025] The international release date of Duelist’s Advance has now been pushed forward to 3 July 2025. Additionally, its card rarity breakdown has been confirmed and is as follows:

1 Starlight Rare
10 Secret Rares
14 Ultra Rares
26 Super Rares
50 Commons

A total of 24 cards of other rarities will also have Starlight Rare versions.

[Update 2 Jan 2025] The card rarity breakdown of Duelist Advance, not counting Secret Rare or Prismatic Secret Rare versions, was recently posted on YGOrganization; it’s as follows:

• 4 Ultimate Rares
• 8 Ultra Rares
• 10 Super Rares
• 18 Rares
• 40 Commons

Duelist Advance has now been confirmed to be the second Yu-Gi-Oh TCG Core Booster of 2025. It will be released in Japan on 26 April 2025.

About Duelist Advance

There will be a total of 20 Duelist Advance cards which come in either Secret Rare or Prismatic Secret Rare. Notably, Duelist Advance will be the first Core Booster following the “retirement” of the Quarter Century Secret Rare rarity honoring the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG’s 25th anniversary.

Many of the cards in Duelist Advance will be connected to upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh anime spin-off Yu-Gi-Oh CARD GAME THE CHRONICLES which premieres in April 2025. Additionally, included with each Duelist Advance booster box will be a copy of a Duelist Advance +1 Assist Pack.

Each 5-card Alliance Insight booster pack will be sold at a price of 176 JPY (~US$1.12). Buyers may also purchase a booster box which contains 30 booster packs.
