The Pokémon Trading Card Game’s upcoming Japanese expansion, Battle Partners [SV9], is set to release on January 24, 2025. This set introduces Owner’s Pokémon, featuring Pokémon alongside their respective Trainers. As part of a promotional campaign for this upcoming set, a special Iono’s Wattrel promotional card will be given out to customers who purchase 30 booster packs of the Battle Partners set.

About Iono’s Wattrel (SV-P Promotional Cards 232/SV-P)

The promo card showcases Wattrel with Iono, the Electric-type Gym Leader from the Paldea region. In the game, Iono owns a Wattrel, making this pairing thematically appropriate.

The card’s artwork is rendered in Full Art, featuring unique and detailed illustrations that highlight the bond between Trainer and Pokémon. This promo is part of the SV-P Promotional series and is numbered 232/SV-P.

It isn’t yet known if this card will ever be released in English.
