LINE

The adidas Harden Vol. 9 is finally here—or at least, it’s making its way onto the court. After months of teasing and leaked images, adidas and James Harden have pulled back the curtain on the latest chapter in Harden’s signature sneaker line. And what better way to introduce it than with a masterclass performance on the hardwood?

About the adidas Harden Vol. 9

Harden laced up the “Cyber Metallic” colorway of the Vol. 9 in a statement game against the Utah Jazz. Dropping 41 points in just 31 minutes, he made it clear that his new kicks are more than just a pretty face—they’re built for buckets.

The Vol. 9 silhouette marks a bold step forward in the Harden line. Appearing initially in “Cloud White” and “Cyber Metallic” colorways, the sneaker plays with contrast by pairing its primary hues with a stark black base. Crescent-shaped Three Stripe cut-outs dominate the sides, giving the shoe a futuristic edge while maintaining adidas’ signature branding.

Harden’s personal logo is stamped on the heel, a subtle nod to his presence both on and off the court. Meanwhile, a traditional set of Three Stripes extends from the heel of the sole up to the midsole, blending function and aesthetic seamlessly.

Release Details

Details about the shoe’s design inspiration and technical specs are still under wraps, but adidas has confirmed that the Harden Vol. 9 will be hitting shelves in January 2025 in a range of colorways. It will come with an RRP of US$160.
