[Pokémon TCG] Dreepy Master Ball Mirror (Terastal Festival ex [SV8a] 118/187) [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]
And just like that—a card that had previously only ever been considered for gameplay purposes is now wanted by collectors as well.
One of the decks which has seen a fairly high level of use in Pokémon TCG tournaments is the Dragapult ex deck. With the release of Terastal Festival ex [SV8a], players using this deck who are so inclined to do so have the opportunity to add some “style points” by picking up a copy of the Master Ball Mirror version of the Dreepy card which is an important part of the deck.
About Dreepy Master Ball Mirror (Terastal Festival ex [SV8a] 118/187)
In and of itself, Dreepy hardly does anything at all gameplay-wise. It’s only included in the Dragapult ex deck for the sole purpose of evolving into Drakloak and subsequently Dragapult ex. However, the fact that this card is well-known to people within the tournament player base as well gives its Master Ball Mirror version a status which many of the other Master Ball Mirror cards might not have. As such, this card might not only appeal to collectors, but also to players who might want to add a touch to their deck that’ll make it stand out.
Like all other Master Ball Mirror cards, this one has a textured Master Ball print on it as well as a “cracked ice” background. There haven’t been any Master Ball Mirror cards since the release of Pokémon Card 151 [SV2a] well over a year ago; in addition, Master Ball Mirror cards are much rarer and thus more valuable and sought-after than their respective non-Master Ball Mirror versions.
