After partnerships with COMME des GARÇONS and Up There, the New Balance 860v2 is back in action with a striking “Midnight” colorway.

About the New Balance 860v2 “Midnight”

Though the 860v2 shares a similar role in the technical running category with models like the 1906R, 2002R, and the revived 740, it has been overshadowed by the popularity of those other releases. Excluding the recent collaborations, this “Midnight” colorway marks the first fresh iteration in recent months.

The design kicks off with a dark grey mesh foundation, topped with varying shades of blue leather across the toe, midfoot, and heel. While the 860v2 typically features a mesh tongue with the New Balance logo, the “Midnight” version opts for grey leather and bold “NB” branding.

Release Details

The New Balance 860v2 “Midnight” is already appearing at European stores, though there’s no confirmed release date for the U.S. just yet. It carried a retail price tag of US$150. Stay tuned for an official release date soon.
