In Terastal Festival ex [SV8a], the newest Pokémon TCG set, Creatures Inc. brought back Master Ball Mirror cards for the first time since the iconic Pokémon Card 151 [SV2a] set. Of these Master Ball Mirror cards, by far the most sought-after were those of Eevee and its eight evolutions—the set’s headliners. As one of those Pokémon, Espeon ex’s Master Ball Mirror card is quite the pickup in its own right.
About Espeon Master Ball Mirror (Terastal Festival ex [SV8a] 062/187)
Like all other Master Ball Mirror cards, the standout feature of Espeon’s Master Ball Mirror version is the etched Master Ball print on the card. Adding to this is the “cracked ice” layer that covers the cards and adds a crystalline effect that alludes to the set’s name. Not only that—since it’s been so long since the last time Master Ball Mirror cards were seen that will undoubtedly add to the card’s desirability.
On top of that, any card featuring any of the Eeveelutions will amass much demand—especially when they’re the Pokémon around which this set is built. The card’s illustration is also visually appealing—it shows the Psychic-type Eeveelution reclining on a couch and looking forward—almost as though Espeon is pleading for a buyer to step forward and pick up the card.
This card is a reprint of a card first seen in Ruler of the Black Flame [SV3].
