Jurrac Astero is among the five cover cards of newly-released Yu-Gi-Oh TCG set Terminal World 2; as such, it was always intended to be one of the set’s standout cards. Thus, it was rather expected when Jurrac Astero was confirmed to be one of the 12 cards in the set to come in Quarter Century Secret Rare.

About Jurrac Astero (Terminal World 2 TW02-JP029)

This card’s main selling point is undoubtedly its striking illustration that features Jurrac Astero cloaked in flames, its tail and head ablaze while even more fire is about to burst out of its midsection. The card’s rarity of Quarter Century Secret Rare adds further appeal, as does its status as one of the set’s cover cards.

Although not a direct counterpart, this card is closely linked to Jurrac Meteor for several reasons. Both cards are Level 10 Jurrac Synchro Monster cards; Jurrac Astero has 300 more ATK but 300 less DEF than Jurrac Meteor does. Jurrac Astero’s last effect also Special Summons Jurrac Meteor. Finally, Jurrac. Astero’s first effect sets a Jurrac Spell or Trap card; only two such cards—Jurrac Volcano and Jurrac Impact—exist; both have connections to Jurrac Meteor.
