[Yu-Gi-Oh TCG] Jurrac Volcano (Terminal World 2 TW02-JP030) [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]
A card that references one of the most compelling Duel Terminal canonical storylines.
It isn’t often that a Field Spell card ends up becoming one of the most coveted cards of a Yu-Gi-Oh TCG set. However, following the release of Terminal World 2, Jurrac Volcano ended up being a clear outlier to this idea. It has emerged as one of the set’s standout pulls for several reasons.
About Jurrac Volcano (Terminal World 2 TW02-JP030)
First and foremost, this card can come in the rarity of Quarter Century Secret Rare—the rarity which Konami created specifically to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG. Its illustration is also visually striking, depicting the violent eruption of the titular volcano in spectacular fashion. The card’s holofoil adds visual impact to the eruption and causes the lava being ejected skyward to appear even more deadly.
The card’s illustration also contains a reference to Yu-Gi-Oh lore as originally detailed in the Duel Terminal Master Guide. According to the in-universe canon, Jurrac Titano lived at the bottom of the Jurrac Volcano’s crater until the volcano’s eruption—which was caused by Jurrac Titano himself as he clad himself in lava, shattered the atmosphere as he transformed into Jurrac Meteor, and arose into outer space before descending to exact revenge on his foes as Jurrac Meteor. This narrative element adds appeal to, and thus increases demand from, the fans who are well-versed in Yu-Gi-Oh lore.
