[Yu-Gi-Oh TCG] Paladins of Bonds and Unity (Supreme Darkness SUDA-JP000) [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]
The latest card to commemorate 25 years of the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG.
Every recent Yu-Gi-Oh TCG set has contained a card that honors the 25th anniversary of the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG. The newly-released Supreme Darkness is no different—in this set, the card in question is Paladins of Bonds and Unity.
About Paladins of Bonds and Unity (Supreme Darkness SUDA-JP000)
This card is an upgraded Synchro form of the Magicians of Bonds and Unity card from Legacy of Destruction. Just like its base form, Paladins of Bonds and Unity is linked to the number 25 to allude to the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG’s 25th anniversary; its effects center around the player’s or opponent’s possession of 25 or more cards in the Graveyard. Paladins of Bonds and Unity also requires a non-Tuner monster with 2500 original ATK or DEF as one of the cards for it to be Synchro Summoned.
This card only comes in Quarter Century Secret Rare, the card rarity created for the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG’s 25th anniversary. It’s also the first-ever Synchro Monster to be related to the Dark Magician archetype. Finally, this card is connected to the Ultimate Dragon of Pride and Soul card from Rage of the Abyss; that card is Paladins of Bonds and Unity’s counterpart. Paladins of Bonds and Unity’s effects also ensure that it can’t be destroyed by Ultimate Dragon of Pride and Soul’s destruction effect.
