Ronnie Fieg and his Kith brainchild added a new chapter to their joint portfolio with ASICS. Their latest endeavor revisits two ASICS staples—the GEL-KAYANO™ 12.1 and the GEL-NIMBUS™ 10.1—rejuvenating these performance-driven models.

About the Ronnie Fieg for ASICS GEL-KAYANO 12.1 and GEL-NIMBUS 10.1

The Ronnie Fieg x ASICS GEL-KAYANO™ 12.1’s upper blends the GEL-KAYANO™ 12 silhouette and the GEL-NIMBUS™ 17 sole. Reimagined in a palette from Kith’s signature hues, the pair also incorporates TPU material for the brand’s classic ASICS stripes.

Moreover, the tongues are adorned with subtle yet evocative design elements. The left features a Japanese Kanji translating to “Kayano,” a respectful nod to the namesake designer who birthed the model. The right tongue, emblazoned with the Kanji for “Friend,” pays homage to Kith’s core philosophy encapsulated in the slogan “Kith and Kin.”

Next, for the first time, Fieg sets his sights on the GEL-NIMBUS™ 10.1. The signature comfort elements—the dual-layer EVA foam midsole, supportive GEL® technology inserts, and the stabilizing TRUSSTIC® system—remain intact; in tandem with an exclusive color palette and Kith branding on the heel and sockliner.

Release Details

A wider release for the Ronnie Fieg for ASICS GEL-KAYANO 12.1 and GEL-NIMBUS 10.1 is set to take place on 21 October at Kith’s brick-and-click stores.
