Kith x Salomon XT-4K [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]
First seen on the cover of Japan’s Shoes Master magazine.
A Ronnie Fieg collaboration is usually a highly anticipated affair in the fashion facet of street culture. In recent months, there has been a flurry of exciting projects with brands like adidas, ASICS, and New Balance, but anticipation for a renewed partnership with Salomon has been palpable.
Following an almost two-year hiatus, the parties have rekindled their partnership, culminating with introducing the XT-4K. Surprisingly, the titular pair debuted not through conventional channels but on the cover of Japan’s Shoes Master magazine, commemorating the publication’s 20th anniversary and 42nd issue.
About the Kith x Salomon XT-4K
The XT-4K features a redesigned midfoot panel that prominently displays the KITH branding in stark white contrast against the grey mesh base. Additional branding elements, including the Kith-branded tongue tag and the black-and-white pattern on the spine, further enhance the shoe’s visual appeal.
Salomon’s branding remains prominent, with the logo positioned near the lateral heel. The heel counter has also been redesigned to incorporate a fused overlay with grey details, adding a touch of sophistication.
Release Details
The XT-4K is scheduled for release in October 2024 and will be exclusively available through Kith’s online and in-store channels. The retail price has yet to be announced.
