The next Yu-Gi-Oh TCG card, which is to be a promotional card released with an upcoming issue of shōnen animanga magazine V Jump, will be Double Fusion. It will be launched on 21 October 2024.

Double Fusion is a card which many long-time Yu-Gi-Oh TCG fans have been awaiting for many years. This is because the card was first shown in Yu-Gi-Oh anime spin-off series Yu-Gi-Oh GX more than 18 years ago. It made its anime debut in episode 102 of Yu-Gi-Oh GX in the hands of protagonist Jaden Yuki. At the time, the card was an anime-exclusive one; many wondered just when it would become a real-life Yu-Gi-Oh TCG card. Many years later, the wait is finally over—with an assist from the folks at V Jump.

This is likely to be one of the most highly-anticipated V Jump promotional cards ever released due to the enormous timespan between its introduction in the anime and its real-life debut. This will likely cause its value to be fairly significant. In addition, it will likely hold particular appeal to those who got into the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG by watching Yu-Gi-Oh GX.

On 7 October, additional information about Double Fusion will be posted on the official Yu-Gi-Oh TCG website.
