PUMA is due for a renaissance, attested to by its recent, visually audacious releases, captivating collaborations, and the reintroduction of archival silhouettes. Case in point: the Mostro. SAN SAN GEAR‘s take is imminent, but the Korean label’s three-piece release will be preceded by this monochromatic rendering of the model.

About the PUMA Mostro Monochromatic Pack

PUMA delved into its archives to resurrect the Mostro, a futuristic silhouette that epitomized the technological advancements and design trends of the late 1990s. The shoe, featuring a spiked rubber sole and a distinctive blend of suede, has experienced a resurgence in popularity.

In addition to its aforementioned SAN SAN GEAR and Aries collaborations, PUMA reintroduces the Mostro in two colorways: “Vapor Gray” and “Frosted Ivory.” The upper is crafted from a technical ripstop material, adding a contemporary edge to the classic, while seamlessly blending elements of techwear and gorpcore.

Release Details

The PUMA Mostro Monochromatic Pack will launch on 21 September. It will be available at PUMA’s brick-and-click stores and select retailers worldwide, priced at US$130.
