The first images of the four promotional cards to be released as part of prerelease events tied to the launch of the upcoming Surging Sparks [SSP] set have now been posted on PokéBeach. These promotional Pokémon TCG cards are Chien-Pao, Indeedee, Magneton, and Gouging Fire. They will be released on 26 October 2024, the first day of the prerelease events.

About the Surging Sparks [SSP] Prerelease Promotional Cards

Each of the four cards features artwork that differs from that of their respective Japanese versions. They will also have the Surging Sparks [SSP] logo on their right sides.

The only one of these cards to have already been revealed in Japanese is Gouging Fire which will be part of Paradise Dragona [SV7a]. Magneton’s English version has been confirmed to be part of the Surging Sparks Elite Trainer Box; however, information on its Japanese version remains lacking as of right now.

No details on the Chien-Pao or Indeedee card are yet out; however, it’s likely that their Japanese versions will either be released as part of Paradise Dragona [SV7a] or Supercharged Breaker.

Release Details

The English versions of each of these four cards will be part of the SVP Black Star Promos.

The sale prices of each of these cards will only be known once the first copies make it to the open market.
