The official prerelease of Stellar Crown [SCR], the next English Pokémon TCG set to be arriving, will take place on 31 August 2024—two weeks before the set’s official drop on 13 September. Accompanying the prerelease will be the Stellar Crown Build & Battle Box which will only be available via selected retailers at official prerelease events.

About the Stellar Crown Build & Battle Box

The Stellar Crown Build & Battle Box includes four Stellar Crown [SCR] booster packs, a 40-card deck, and one of four holofoil promotional cards. The card could be one of Drifblim, Ledian, Bouffalant, or Crabominable.

The deck only contains 40 cards instead of usual 60 because it’s intended to be played in the Prerelease format. In addition to the use of a 40-card deck, games in the shorter Prerelease format feature a maximum of four Prize cards instead of the standard six.
