Grace Wales Bonner’s namesake fashion label has become a leading figure in the sneaker industry, particularly through its collaboration with adidas. Over the years, the duo has consistently released seasonal collections.

The collaboration between the British designer and adidas began in late 2020, debuting with their upscale version of the classic Samba. This luxurious reinterpretation of the football trainer arguably sparked the current wave of popularity surrounding the shoe. Building on this trend, Wales Bonner and adidas have continued to release seasonal variations of the silhouette.

These include iterations like Wales Bonner x adidas Samba Studded pack and a variety of renditions in the Wales Bonner x adidas Spring/Summer 2024 Collection.

While other models (like the adidas SL76) have been introduced over the years, none have resonated quite like the Samba. In Fall 2024, however, the Superstar is poised to become the next standout in their lineup.

The teased pair showcases the classic white colorway with black stripes, crafted from crocodile leather with design cues borrowed from men’s dress shoes, particularly around the heels. Gold foil branding and a maroon inner lining add the finishing touches to this luxurious sneaker.

Release Details

The release date for Wales Bonner’s next seasonal collection has yet to be announced, but it is anticipated to drop sometime in Fall 2024.
