Pokémon TCG Charmander

The three original first-generation starter Pokémon that started it all—Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle—as well as their final evolutions have remained among the most popular Pokémon throughout the entire existence of the Pokémon franchise. With this in mind, Creatures Inc. released the Venusaur & Charizard & Blastoise Special Deck Set ex [SVG], centered around these Pokémon, in November 2023.

About Charmander (Venusaur & Charizard & Blastoise Special Deck Set ex) [SVG] 051/049)

As could be expected, the Full Art version of the Charmander card from the Venusaur & Charizard & Blastoise Special Deck Set ex [SVG] is an impressive pull. It depicts the Fire-type starter angrily staring out of a window, its iconic fiery tail fully visible. There are also two Pidgey shown in the illustration; this establishes continuity with the Full Art versions of the Squirtle and Bulbasaur cards from this set. Those cards also have two Pidgey in their respective Full Art illustrations.

For additional visual impact, the card’s holofoil has a spectrum-like effect that’s most visible on the right side of the card. This gives the impression that the light is reflecting off the window glass, making the card’s illustration appear more life-like.
