As one might expect from the name of the set, almost all of the standout cards of eighth-generation Pokémon TCG set Eevee Heroes [S6a] are Eeveelution cards. However, there’s one outlier: the Aroma Lady card in its Super Rare (SR) rarity.

About Aroma Lady (Eevee Heroes [S6a] 086/069)

The card’s Full Art illustration depicts the Grass-type specialist surrounded by swirling flower petals—a direct reference to her Trainer class and the Pokémon type in which she specializes. Additionally, every card with a Full Art illustration of a female character is sure to carry demographic appeal; that’s the largest driver of this card’s value.

Although this card isn’t one of the featured cards of Eevee Heroes [S6a], its presence in the set elevates its profile as well. Eevee Heroes [S6a] is arguably the single most iconic set of Gen 8—so much so that when it was rumored to be reprinted earlier this year, the hype for it and the sets it was supposedly to have been reprinted alongside spiked; the hype then collapsed for all sets involved as soon as Eevee Heroes [S6a] was confirmed to not be receiving a reprint.

Ironically, the fact that it’s in Eevee Heroes [S6a] means that this card could’ve potentially had even greater value. If the illustrator had chosen to portray Aroma Lady with a Leafeon, the Grass-type Eeveelution, this card’s value would’ve risen even more. Nevertheless, this card remains a solid pull.
