[Pokémon TCG] Pokémon Trading Card Game Classic [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]
It's not often that demand for a Pokémon TCG has a new peak like this so long after its original release—but that's exactly what's happened here.
Close to a full year following the release of Pokémon Trading Card Game Classic, a Deck Kit containing three Pokémon TCG decks, demand for it has recently soared. Pokémon Trading Card Game Classic was first released in Japan in October 2023 and internationally in November 2023.
About Pokémon Trading Card Game Classic
The three decks in this Deck Kit feature Venusaur and Lugia ex, Charizard and Ho-oh ex, and Blastoise and Suicune ex respectively. The majority of the cards across the trio of decks are reprints; just six are original cards. Due to the cards’ lack of regulation marks, only the Basic Energy cards in them are tournament-legal.
Every card in Pokémon Trading Card Game Classic features a Star-Imprint Holofoil pattern which was first found not on a card, but on Pokémon TCG coins from the fifth generation. In addition to Japanese and English, Pokémon Trading Card Game Classic is also available in Korean and Traditional Chinese.
The items found in Pokémon Trading Card Game Classic are as follows:
- • 3 60-card decks
- • 3 deck boxes
- • 3 sets of card sleeves
- • Two-player game board
- • Toolbox case with randomizer
- • 2 sets of damage counter cones
- • 2 sets of condition markers
Price
Pokémon Trading Card Game Classic sells for US$399.99.
