One of the three new card archetypes introduced in newly-released Yu-Gi-Oh TCG Core Booster Rage of the Abyss was the Azamina archetype. Seven Azamina cards are in the set. Among these, one of the most in-demand is the Azamina Rhea Silvera card.

About Azamina Rhea Silvera (Rage of the Abyss ROTA-JP030)

This card has multiple links to a variety of existing cards. It’s an upgraded form of Silvy of the White Forest from Infinite Forbidden; the key difference is that its archetype has been changed to Azamina. The character can also be seen in the illustrations of three other Rage of the Abyss cards: Sinful Spoils Offenders, Azamina Ofeiletis, and Sinful Spoils Deception (the latter in silhouette form).

The card is also a counterpart of two other cards: Sinful Spoils of Betrayal – Silvera from Age of Overlord and Silvera, Wolf Tamer of the White Forest from Infinite Forbidden. These references are likely to increase the card’s appeal, especially to long-time Yu-Gi-Oh fans who are well-versed in the series’ lore.

Finally, this card can come in Quarter Century Secret Rare; it’s one of 21 cards in the set that can come in that rarity. Incidentally, although this card does depict a female character, that element is unlikely to play a role in increasing the card’s value because this character isn’t really one of those which the main demographic would typically be drawn towards.

Release Details

The English release date of this card will occur on 10 October 2024 alongside the rest of Rage of the Abyss.

The sale price of a Quarter Century Secret Rare Azamina Rhea Silvera (Rage of the Abyss ROTA-JP030) card is 3,000 JPY (~US$20).
