Though the veracity of LeBron James’ breakfast preference remains a subject for speculation (read: Fruity Pebbles), the latest iteration of the Nike LeBron Witness 8 undeniably channels the iconic coffee and donut purveyor.

Clad in a saccharine palette of pink and orange, this budget-conscious basketball shoe bears an uncanny resemblance to the fast-food chain’s signature color scheme. The pink dominates the tongue and outsole, while accents of orange punctuate the midsole and branding. While not an officially sanctioned collaboration, the shoe’s aesthetic is unmistakably Dunkin’.

Intriguingly, the connection between the eponymous basketball legend and the donut giant runs deeper than mere color coordination. In 2012, the basketball superstar was appointed brand ambassador for Dunkin’ in emerging Asian markets. This strategic partnership aimed to elevate the brand’s profile in China, Taiwan, India, and South Korea.

Whether inspired by this past association or simply a fortuitous design choice, the LeBron Witness 8 “Dunkin Donuts” is scheduled to hit stores in Fall 2024, with an RRP of $110.
