Pokémon TCG Area Zero Underdepths

The climax of the events of The Indigo Disk, the second DLC of the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet video games, takes place in the Area Zero Underdepths where the dormant form of Terapagos rests. Indeed, the very name of the DLC alludes to the method used to enter the Area Zero Underdepths. With this in mind, it makes perfect sense that one of the most notable pulls from Stellar Miracle [SV7], a Pokémon TCG set themed around The Indigo Disk, is the Area Zero Underdepths card.

Like all other Ultra Rare (UR) cards, this Stadium card has a gold-colored border; the crystals shown in the card’s Full Art illustration also have an outline of the same color. Those same crystals are displayed from the floor up to emphasize not only their size, but also the power contained within them in relation to the Terastal phenomenon.

True to the canonical lore, this card is designed to reward players who have Terastallized Pokémon in play. Players who have at least one such Pokémon are allowed to expand their Bench up to a maximum size of eight Pokémon instead of the usual five. For this reason, if this card ends up becoming a major factor in the metagame, decks which contain Terastallized Pokémon will almost certainly include it.

This card hasn’t yet been launched in English.

The latest figures place the price of an Area Zero Underdepths (Stellar Miracle [SV7] 135/102) card at 3,480 JPY (~US$22).
