Pokémon TCG Lacey

Introduced in The Indigo Disk, the second DLC of the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet video games, Lacey is the Fairy-type specialist who’s a member of the BB League Elite Four. As the daughter of Driftveil Gym Leader Clay, she had already thus surpassed her father in rank when she introduced the player to Blueberry Academy, the school where the events of The Indigo Disk take place. Since the newly-released Pokémon TCG set Stellar Miracle [SV7] is based on The Indigo Disk, it was always to be expected that her card would be a standout.

As is so often the case, a card that features a female character by way of a Full Art illustration will almost always be a major hit. Additionally, in Lacey’s specific case, there’s something of a nostalgia factor in play owing to her connection to a character originally from the fifth generation.

Lacey is also the first-ever Elite Four member to be a Fairy-type specialist. With Fairy being one of the most popular Pokémon types among the fanbase in general, this fact is sure to boost this card’s popularity. Finally, the illustration of this Special Art Rare (SAR) card itself also features Crispin, Drayton, and Amarys—the other three members of the BB League Elite Four. This is a detail which adds to the card’s overall appeal.

This card hasn’t yet been released in English.

The price of a Lacey (Stellar Miracle [SV7] 131/102) card of SAR rarity is 19,800 JPY (~US$126).
