Pokémon TCG Briar

First introduced in The Teal Mask, the first DLC of the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet video games, Briar takes on an even greater role in the subsequent DLC The Indigo Disk. It’s the Indigo Disk upon which newly-launched Pokémon TCG set Stellar Miracle [SV7] is based—thus, it’s also her role in the Indigo Disk which this card references.

This card’s Full Art illustration depicts the Blueberry Academy teacher and owner of the original Scarlet Book or Violet Book (depending on which version is being played) closely examining a Tera Shard. This is a direct reference to the video games because Briar seeks to prove the theories of Heath, her ancestor and the original writer of the Scarlet Book or Violet Book, true. Those theories center around the Terastal phenomenon and the Legendary Pokémon Terapagos, the source of Terastallization itself.

A further nod to Briar’s link to Terastallization can be seen in the illustration’s centering of her earring. Briar’s earring is shaped like the six-pointed star symbol associated with Terastallization. Finally, we’d be remiss not to mention the fact that as this card’s illustration is a Full Art image of a female character, it’ll undoubtedly get the demographic boost.

This card isn’t out in English yet.

A Briar (Stellar Miracle [SV7] 132/102) card sells for 5,480 JPY (~US$35).
