[Update 29 Jul 2024] Alongside an additional official image of the pair, the Sporty & Rich x adidas Handball Spezial “Olympic” has received an official retail price tag of US$120. The shoe just dropped and is now also available via the SNKRDUNK App if you’re interested in getting your hands on a pair.

To commemorate the imminent 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, Sporty & Rich collaborates with adidas on a limited-edition rendition of the classic Handball Spezial silhouette, alongside the Adistar Cushion and Samba OG.

A Collegiate Red suede upper takes center stage, exuding a captivating energy reminiscent of Parisian summer sunsets. Footwear White leather stripes grace the profiles, while a luxurious flourish is introduced by the gold “Sporty & Rich” branding. A touch of understated contrast is provided by the Night Indigo heel tab, emblazoned with the iconic adidas logo.

Inside, the pristine white inner lining and tongue offer a refreshing counterpoint to the vibrant red upper, while gold branding discreetly embossed on the insole elevates the overall elegance. The collaborative branding displayed on the tongue further solidifies the partnership between these two powerhouse labels. All the aforementioned sit atop a gum rubber sole.

The Sporty & Rich x adidas Handball Spezial “Olympic” will release on 29 July. A price point will be revealed in the coming days. Nonetheless, find the pair on adidas’ brick-and-click stores and select retailers come D-Day.
