Nike’s ongoing odyssey of immortalizing global cities through footwear continues with a tribute to Berlin. An homage to the city’s vibrant, pulsating underbelly—its renowned underground club scene.

The shoe is imbued with the edgy dynamism of Berlin’s nightlife. A predominantly black upper serves as the canvas, punctuated by patent leather accents on the mudguard, eyestays, and heel. These elements shimmer with a 3M finish, revealing an unexpected, almost reptilian pattern when touched by light.

This subtle detail evokes the dazzling strobe effects that illuminate Berlin’s iconic clubs. Black tumbled leather graces the toe, midfoot, and collar, adding a touch of textural intrigue and a luxurious feel. Sleek sophistication is injected through grey hues adorning the laces, sockliner, Swoosh, and heel tab. The metallic hardware on the laces adds a touch of understated glamour.

A closer look reveals unique and subtle branding details: a red, yellow, and blue circle adron the right insole’s Nike logo. A playful nod to the exclusivity of Berlin’s underground scene comes in the form of the “No Photography Allowed” warning nestled within the tongue tag. Completing the design is a grey midsole with contrasting black stitching, anchored by a durable black rubber outsole.
