The influence of Y2K styles is everywhere, with many brands offering retro running shoes with a modern twist. Mizuno isn’t sitting this trend out—they’ve just introduced their latest MXR Sneaker, capturing the spirit of the era with a fresh perspective.

Building on heritage, the MXR pays homage to the Mizuno Maximizer 13. It features a mesh base for ventilation, layered with synthetic leather overlays for a touch of classic style. True to Mizuno’s identity, the brand’s iconic logo graces both the sides and tongue labels.

Doubling down on the Y2K aesthetic, the Mizuno MXR comes in two color options to complement your style—”White/Black/Silver” or “White/Blue/Silver”.

Mark your calendars for 5 July because that’s when these kicks launch via Mizuno and select retailers. Each pair will retail at 11,000 JPY (~US$68).

In other news, a new fragment x Converse Jack Purcell “Navy” has surfaced.
