Exclusive to Taiwan and Hong Kong, the Tactics Decks series including six pre-constructed Pokémon TCG decks will feature five Pokémon-ex cards with never-before-seen illustrations. The five cards in question are Garchomp ex, Meowscarada ex, Scizor ex, Miraidon ex, and Gardevoir ex.

Of these five cards, the Garchomp ex card is notable for being the only one of the quintet which has Terastallized. The usually Ground/Dragon-type Pokémon is shown as a Water-type on this card.

There is unconfirmed speculation that these five cards with new artwork will be re-released as part of the upcoming Japanese expansion set Terastal Festival which drops in December. However, if this is proven false, it would mean that these cards would be exclusively released in Traditional Chinese.

No retail price for each of the Tactics Decks has yet been announced.
