Pokémon Tool cards are some of the most potent in the Pokémon TCG metagame. They’re staples of a great many decks which would not be able to function as they do without them. For this reason, the introduction of Stadium card Jamming Tower in Mask of Change [SV6] had an enormous impact on the meta.

When Jamming Tower is played, all Pokémon Tools attached to any Pokémon in play do not have any effect. True to the name of this card, this has a highly disruptive effect on the setup of decks such as the Roaring Moon ex, Gardevoir ex, and Iron Hands ex/Iron Crown ex decks which feature Pokémon Tool cards as primary elements of their respective gameplans.

The deck in which Jamming Tower is most commonly seen is the Lugia VSTAR deck. Since the Lugia VSTAR deck doesn’t include any Pokémon Tool cards, this makes Jamming Tower a perfect fit because it only impacts the opponent, leaving the player completely unaffected.

The English version of this card is card 153/167 from Twilight Masquerade [TWM].

The Jamming Tower (Mask of Change [SV6] 100/101) card isn’t particularly rare and thus inexpensive—one copy sells for just 320 JPY (~US$1.98).
