Museum Shreds with Cardboard-Inspired New Balance Collab
Inspired by the look of cardboard and packing materials.
Skateboarder and artist Tom Karangelov brings his brand Museum to New Balance Numeric for a unique collab on the Numeric 272 shoe. Inspired by cardboard and packing materials, this shoe is a shredder’s masterpiece.
Imagine a tan suede shoe with canvas accents, like the look of cardboard and packing materials. Fuzzy textures and a packing tape-like logo add a distinctive texture contrast.
The tongue tag features a co-branded logo designed to look like packing tape, sticking with the cardboard theme. A gum rubber midsole offers excellent grip and long-lasting wear, while the semi-translucent outsole with a yellowed tint completes the packing tape aesthetic.
Despite the artsy vibe, the shoe prioritizes function. Breathable perforations, supportive canvas panels, and a grippy gum rubber sole make it ideal for conquering the streets.
Dropping 21 June in men’s sizes for US$85, look for them online and at select New Balance retailers.
