[Update 18 Jun 2024] While no release details have been disclosed, Ronnie Fieg has shared additional campaign shots of his ASICS GEL-KAYANO 12 collab, officially dubbed the “GEL-KAYANO 12.1”. Check out the two colorways in the gallery above and stay tuned for further updates.

Founder of the multifunctional lifestyle brand Kith, Ronnie Fieg, has teamed up with ASICS to revamp the timeless GEL-KAYANO 12. Ronnie’s iteration features a striking combination of metallic silver and cream that refreshes the silhouette.

The shoe itself mixes tumbled leather and mesh for a look that’s both durable and breathable. Silver accents adorn the mudguard, vamp, eyestays, and heel for a sleek vibe, while the cream mesh base keeps things balanced. ASICS branding also gets the cream treatment, tying the whole look together.

For the sole, the GEL-KAYANO 12 gets a slight upgrade from its 2006 self. It features modernized cushioning technology for better comfort and responsiveness, and the outsole has a grippy pattern.

Alongside the “Cream/Silver” colorway, rumors suggest a second one is on the way, with details remaining scant so far.

The Kith x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 12 collaboration is set to release at Kith stores and online sometime this month. No official pricing has been announced yet.
