[Update 26 Sep 2024] The Purple/Yellow Pudding deck has made this card relevant in the current metagame. Like the card from Pillars of Strength [OP-03] that depicts the same character, this Linlin card is also a late-game carry. It’s a threat both offensively and defensively; it not only deals a large amount of damage but also forces the opponent to trash a Life card.

LINE
ONE PIECE Card Game Charlotte Linlin

The leader of the Big Mom Pirates and the primary antagonist of the Whole Cake Island saga, Charlotte Linlin is one of the most memorable villains in the entire One Piece manga. Despite her current uncertain status in the manga, many ONE PIECE Card Game cards depicting Linlin have gone on to be major hits—just as the latest one from Two Legends [OP-08] is expected to be.

This Super Rare Parallel (SR-P) card features a Parallel Art card that depicts Linlin with Zeus, Napoleon, and Prometheus—an anthropomorphized thundercloud, bicorne, and sun respectively. Known as “homies”, these are ordinary objects which have a portion of Linlin’s soul infused into them via her Devil Fruit powers.

The front-facing portrayal of Linlin at the peak of her powers highlights the immense power she wields. Linlin, a former member of the Four Emperors, is clearly shown with an intent to do tremendous harm to any who dare oppose her.

Despite portraying a female character, Linlin doesn’t exactly fit the type of demographic appeal that would cater to many ONE PIECE Card Game fans. That being said, the fact that it’s a Parallel Art card and thus much rarer than its original version certainly makes up for that.

This card’s English release date is yet to be revealed.

The price of a Charlotte Linlin (Two Legends [OP-08] OP08-069) card of SR-P rarity is 2,800 JPY (~US$18).
