Japanese Skateboarding Prodigy Ginwoo Onodera Scores Signature Nike SB Dunk Low
Following in the footsteps of fellow skateboarding wunderkind Rayssa Leal, as the youngest Nike SB collaborator.
Japanese skateboarding prodigy Ginwoo Onodera continues his rapid ascent, adding a Nike SB collaboration to his impressive list of accomplishments. At just 12 years old, Onodera has already secured a gold medal at the X Games, a bronze at the World Skateboarding Championship, and the title of Japan’s youngest national champion.
The upcoming Ginwoo Onodera x Nike SB Dunk Low marks a milestone for both parties, with Onodera becoming the youngest Nike SB collaborator, following in the footsteps of fellow wunderkind Rayssa Leal.
While official images haven’t been released yet, the confirmed color scheme of Varsity Red and University Gold suggests a two-tone design. The shoe will maintain the classic Nike SB Dunk Low features, including a padded tongue for comfort and a Zoom Air insole for impact absorption.
Ginwoo Onodera’s signature Nike SB Dunk Low is projected for a Holiday 2024 release. Find them come D-Day on SNKRS and select Nike SB retailers. The pair will be available in men’s sizing and is expected to retail for US$135.
