The ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 has been having a decent run in the sneaker scene for a while now, and has quietly become a cult classic. Many colorways have either sold out on retail sites or found a home on resale sites, showing that the hype surrounding the GEL-KAYANO 14 shows no signs of slowing down.

ASICS has kept the GEL-KAYANO 14 at the forefront of the “tech-runner” trend with a killer lineup of colorways, and the upcoming “Metallic Pastel” edition is no different.

This shoe merges Y2K aesthetics with a modern pastel palette. A creamy mesh base is overlaid with metallic purple and silver, creating a look that’s both nostalgic and new. The soft color scheme is interrupted by a tan midsole with brown-tinted GEL capsules, and a purple-blue tread completes the design.

No official release date yet, but expect to see the ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 “Metallic Pastel” dropping sometime in Summer/Fall 2024, with an RRP of US$150.
