[Pokémon TCG] Crown Zenith Cards Experiencing a Price Spike
According to the latest figures, ungraded Crown Zenith cards can sell for up to 16,410 JPY (~US$105) while PSA 10 Crown Zenith cards can go for up to 29,730 JPY (~US$190).
According to a recent thread on the PokeInvesting subreddit, prices for cards from the Crown Zenith set have recently been spiking following a sudden surge in demand for those cards. Retail prices for ungraded Crown Zenith Pokémon TCG cards have increased by up to 32% while their PSA 10 versions have seen price hikes of up to 46%.
Crown Zenith, the English version of the Japanese VSTAR Universe [S12a] set, was the last English set of the eighth generation of the Pokémon TCG. Crown Zenith was accompanied by the Galarian Gallery—a set of 70 cards from which many of the set’s rarest and most valuable cards came.
Following the most recent price increases, the most expensive ungraded Crown Zenith cards can sell for up to 16,410 JPY (~US$105) while PSA 10 Crown Zenith cards can go for up to 29,730 JPY (~US$190). However, these figures might remain in flux for some time before eventually stabilizing.
While these figures specifically apply to English Crown Zenith cards, it’s not out of the question that Japanese VSTAR Universe [S12a] cards will soon experience a similar increase as the general demand for them has been climbing rapidly.
