Nike SB has a storied history, much of which involves the adaptation of iconic shoes specifically for the sport of skateboarding. One such example is the Nike Dunk Low, transforming it into a favorite in the skateboarding community. The year 2022 saw the introduction of a new silhouette to the Nike SB line—the Force 58. The shoe takes cues from the Nike Air Force 1 but adds its own spin on it.

The shoe is diaphanous and ready for action. The design language prioritizes lightweight construction, using canvas for most of the shoe with suede reinforcements in high-wear areas. This “Dusty Cactus” iteration features unique teal suede overlays that stand out against the off-white canvas base. Brown “pecan” Swooshes add another touch of color, while the classic gum sole completes the look.

The Nike SB Force 58 “Dusty Cactus” is slated for release this year. It will be available at Nike brick-and-click stores for US$85.
