ASICS has been teaming up with some popular fashion brands lately, and their latest collaboration with Japanese women’s brand emmi is a prime example. A newcomer to the ASICS lineup, the GEL-NYC has already seen a series of special editions with collaborators like Hidden NY and Needles this year.

emmi’s take on the GEL-NYC is clean and simple, just like their usual style. It’s got a creamy white mesh base with shiny silver leather pieces on the sides, back, and tongue. There’s a pop of green around the ASICS logo on the side for a bit of contrast, but other than that, it’s pretty muted.

They even left their own branding off the shoe, letting the clean design and ASICS logos shine. For comfort, it’s got a cream and grey foam sole and a black rubber bottom to complete the look.

The emmi x ASICS GEL-NYC shoes come exclusively in women’s sizes and will hit stores and online retailers on 15 May 2024, with an RRP of US$130.
