New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu’s Nike partnership has borne good fruit. Her debut signature shoe, the Sabrina 1, has become a hit among players in both the NBA and WNBA. With this cache, it’s only natural that a sequel is prospective.

In a recent video shared by @GreydyDiaz on X, Ionescu confirmed a second signature shoe, the Sabrina 2, is coming soon. Specific details remain under wraps, but Ionescu expressed her excitement about the shoe’s potential to further bridge the gap between men’s and women’s basketball footwear.

This news comes after Ionescu signed a long-term deal with Nike on draft night in 2020 when she was the Liberty’s number one pick. The Sabrina 1’s success, released three years later, solidified Ionescu’s influence on the basketball footwear landscape.
