Established in 2015 to bring Asia exclusive releases, the NAI-KE series welcomes the Nike Air Footscape Woven “The One Line” to its collection.

This iteration ditches the usual look for a unique blend of cream and olive tones across its asymmetrical upper. Pops of orange add a burst of color, while woven sections reveal hints of jade, aquamarine, teal, and pink for subtle, eye-catching detail.

However, the special feature of this silhouette is the message on the tongue. The debossed branding features the phonetic spelling of “Nike” in Chinese characters, sitting above the tagline “The One Line”.

This refers back to a clever move Nike made in the late ‘70s to navigate a US tariff bill. They created “knock-offs” of their own shoes in China, leading to some of the first sneakers without the Swoosh logo.

The Nike Air Footscape Woven “The One Line” drops sometime later this year for US$160 and will only be available in Asia through Nike stores and select retailers.
