Basketball and music collide once again in Kevin Durant’s signature sneaker line with Nike. Building on the success of the KD 15’s “Producer Pack”, the upcoming KD 17 boasts its own tribute to music makers. This time, legendary hip-hop producer The Alchemist lends his signature style to the shoe, joining Bink! and Metro Boomin in the collection.

The Alchemist x Nike KD 17 is a head-turner, both on and off the court. The shoe features a multi-layered mesh upper inspired by the classic Air Max 95, with a unique color gradient that transitions from deep purple at the base to lighter shades as it rises.

This design is overlaid with a transparent TPU shell, reminiscent of the Air Max Plus, for added durability and a dynamic aesthetic. Pops of bold volt green around the eyelets and the Swoosh logo create a vibrant contrast, while The Alchemist’s ALC Records branding adds a personal touch.

The Coconut Milk midsole and semi-translucent outsole complete the package, offering both style and performance.

The Alchemist x Nike KD 17 drops on 14 June 2024 via Nike brick-and-click stores. They come in men’s sizing at an RRP of US$160.
