Boston-based footwear company New Balance has added another colorway to the 1906L mix. Now, a “Grey/Metallic Silver” colorway joins its counterparts, the 1906L “Green” and the two Junya Watanabe MAN x New Balance 1906L pairs.

The New Balance 1906L “Grey/Metallic Silver” features a premium mix of materials that include mesh, leather, and TPU in a classic Grey and Metallic Silver color palette that has its roots in New Balance’s heritage.

An interesting change of pace comes in the form of a sleek Metallic Silver leather strap that replaces traditional laces, resulting in a comfortable, slip-on fit. Further bolstering the comfort aspect of the shoe is a cream-colored foam midsole borrowed from the 860v2, paired with a durable black and Grey rubber outsole.

And while the 1906L retains the signature toebox overlays and triangular midfoot panels from the 1906R, another pace-changer comes in the form of an omission of the “N” logo, further giving the pair a distinct identity.

Expected for a 2024 release, the New Balance 1906L “Grey/Metallic Silver” will be available in unisex sizes at New Balance brick-and-click stores and select retailers. Stay locked in for updates on pricing, a firm release date, and other details.
