[Pokémon TCG] Get Interdimensional With Giratina V (Lost Abyss [S11] 111/100)
A card which both collectors and serious players will eagerly seek (though in the latter's case, maybe in a less expensive and more common form).

Best-known as the box Legendary of the Pokémon Platinum video game, Giratina received a new spike in popularity when Pokémon Legends Arceus, the sequel to the fourth-generation Pokémon Diamond and Pearl video games, featured it as the final post-game boss battle—in both of its forms. Capitalizing on this, Creatures Inc. deemed it apt to release a Giratina V card as one of the rarest and most valuable of the Lost Abyss [S11] expansion set.
The card’s Full Art illustration depicts Giratina V in its interdimensional domain of the Distortion World. Giratina V is shown in its serpentine Origin Forme—this is canonically accurate because it can only assume this form in the Distortion World unless it’s holding either a Griseous Orb or Griseous Core.
The multi-colored holofoil makes the card’s visual appear somewhat chaotic—but that’s the whole point. The Distortion World is itself a realm of chaos, as shown by the assortment of images and patterns across the card’s background.
Gameplay-wise, this card has seen a considerable amount of use. Since Pokémon V evolve into Pokémon VSTAR, Giratina V thus evolves into Giratina VSTAR—a card around which many of the most dominant Pokémon TCG decks of recent times have been built.
In English, this card’s number is 186/196 in the Lost Origin set.
The sale price of a Giratina V (Lost Abyss [S11] 111/100) card is 42,000 JPY (~US$277).
