LINE

After a significant interval following their last discography release with Get Up, the K-pop global phenomenon, NewJeans, has now confirmed their upcoming plans for the coming months.

Besides a highly anticipated comeback on 24 May featuring tracks How Sweet and Bubble Gum, the female idol group is poised to make their Japanese debut with Supernatural and Right Now on 21 June.

Alongside these releases, NewJeans is also scheduled to hold their first Japanese fanmeet event, “Bunnies Camp 2024”, at Tokyo Dome on 26—27 June. Accompanying this exciting news are a series of new promotional shots, drawing attention to partnerships with various entities in the art and fashion scene.

NewJeans x Takashi Murakami

In one of the images, group member Hanni was seen carrying a drawstring bag featuring graphic prints of renowned Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami’s iconic Murakami Flower, along with anime-inspired character art of the group members.

Though specific details of the collaboration have yet to be disclosed, Murakami has confirmed his involvement by sharing a promotional video of the fanmeet event, which features an original logo design and his Flower art motif.

NewJeans x HYEIN SEO

Alongside the Murakami collaboration, the members of NewJeans are seen wearing oversized t-shirts custom-made by the South Korea-based womenswear label HYEIN SEO. The original piece, first introduced as part of the brand’s SS17 collection, has been redesigned with a paisley-patterned “nwjns” logo.
