Dutch streetwear giant Patta continues to push boundaries with exciting collaborations. Their latest partner is Converse, a brand known for its enduring style and adaptability. Together, they present the Rain or Shine Collection, a fresh take on classic Converse silhouettes built for any weather.

This collection breathes new life into two iconic Converse models—the Weapon Ox and the Chuck 70. The Weapon Ox gets a modern upgrade with a sleek Black Cordura mesh upper, a durable material commonly used in outdoor gear. This ensures the sneaker can handle the elements while maintaining its cool look. Patta adds a unique touch by placing its branding on the right shoe’s tongue and lateral collar while the left side retains the classic Converse Weapon branding.

The Chuck 70 gets a similar utilitarian makeover. It features a Cordura mesh upper in a range of colors— Mineral Grey, Rosin, and Black—combining toughness with visual appeal. The collaboration extends to the insole, where Converse and Patta logos share space with a playful sun graphic split between the two shoes, reflecting the collection’s theme of conquering any weather.

The Patta x Converse “Rain or Shine” Collection launches on 4 April 2024. Get them via Patta, Converse, or Nike brick-and-click stores. The Patta x Converse Weapon Ox “Black/Grey-Multi” will retail for US$140, while the Patta x Converse Chuck 70 Marquis “Black/Mineral Grey-Rosin” comes at an RRP of US$130.
