The BAPE STA Line Gets Expanded With the ICON Pack
The colorblocking on this silhouette sets it apart from its BAPE STA predecessors.
BAPE’s been steadily expanding its BAPE STA line—first with the CROSS STA, and now with the BAPE STA ICON.
This fresh take maintains the classic BAPE STA design language but elevates it with a unique twist. The iconic STA logo gets a cutout treatment on both the medial and lateral sides of the shoe. The crisp White STA then gets accentuated by the brand’s signature ABC CAMO print.
The print also extends to the shoelaces, and they both come in the shoe’s colorway, of which there are three: “Pink/White”, “Green/White”, and “Blue/White”. The rest of the shoe keeps things clean with a pristine White.
The iconic BAPE logo makes a cameo more than once throughout the pair. First, it is debossed on the rubber outsoles, then it appears on the outer heel counter, and finally, on the metal lace tag.
All three colorways of the BAPE STA ICON retail for 279 GBP (~US$352) and are available for purchase via BAPE brick-and-click stores.
