Expanding on their partnership, Japanese professional baseball player Shohei Ohtani and lifestyle label New Balance now announces the release of a signature logo tee collection.

Designed under the New Balance Tokyo Design Studio (TDS), the Made in Japan signature logo tee is crafted from hard-twisted cotton yarn, noted for its optimal durability against pilling.

Utilizing a special knitting technique, the sleeves and hems feature an almost seamless aesthetic, while a woven co-branded label on the bottom completes the design.

The tee will be available in three colorways—white, black, and grey—each in a limited run of 44 numbered pieces, reflecting Ohtani’s total number of home runs achieved in 2023.

Raffle draws for the Shohei Ohtani x New Balance signature logo tee collection will run from 19 March, 9:30AM (JST) to 25 March, 1PM (JST) via New Balance Japan. Each tee will retail at 29,000 JPY (~US$198) and will arrive in a special box packaging.
