Anaheim Ducks x Vans Celebrate 30 Years with Exclusive Collection
Blending sports legacy with streetwear.
Marking a significant milestone, the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks have joined forces with Vans to celebrate the Ducks’ 30th anniversary season.
United by their Orange County roots, this partnership introduces three distinct sneaker designs: two Sk8-Hi versions—the Players Edition and Legacy colorways—and a Slip-On in the Wild Wing colorway, each piece reflecting the Ducks’ rich history and optimistic future.
Launched at the Ducks Team Store in Honda Center on 10 March 2024, during the Ducks’ game against the NY Islanders, fans needed a game ticket for the chance to purchase these exclusive sneakers.
Limited to one pair per attendee, the event not only offered these unique sneakers but also featured exclusive giveaways and appearances by Vans ambassador Steve Van Doren and skateboarding icon Tony Alva.
The 30th Anniversary Player Sk8-Hi features durable suede and canvas uppers, embodying the toughness and spirit of hockey with a Sidestripe™ that echoes a hockey stick’s silhouette. Reinforced toe caps, supportive padded collars, and the signature rubber waffle outsoles—adorned with a 30th Anniversary logo.
The Wild Wing Slip-On showcases the iconic checkerboard print, a Vans hallmark, making it an essential part of any casual wardrobe. Like its high-top counterpart, it features supportive padded collars and signature rubber waffle outsoles for unmatched comfort and durability.
For those unable to attend the game, any remaining pairs became available online for a summer drop at AnaheimTeamStore.com starting today for US$75 (Wild Wing Slip-On Checkerboard Shoe), US$95 (30th Anniversary Player Sk8-Hi Shoe), and US$120 (MD Legacy Sk8-Hi Shoe). These pieces are made to order, ensuring exclusivity and attention to detail.
