[Update 28 Jun 2024] An image of a Double Rare (RR) Orthworm ex card has surfaced on PokéBeach.com. Find it in the gallery and stay tuned as we find out more about this set.

[Update 18 Jun 2024] Two more images of Double Rare (RR) cards—a Hydrapple ex and a Terastallized Lapras ex card—have been posted on PokéBeach.com. It should be noted that the English version of the Lapras ex card, to be part of upcoming international set Stellar Crown, has already been seen. Head to the gallery to look at them and stay with us as more details arrive!

[Update 4 Jun 2024] An enormous amount of information has been confirmed via the Pokémon TCG’s official Pokémon TCG YouTube channel on a livestream of the Japan Championships as well as PokéBeach.com. Two card images have been revealed—a Double Rare (RR) Terapagos ex as well as an ACE SPEC Sparkling Crystal. Browse the gallery for them.

Next, the nature of Stellar Pokémon themselves has been confirmed. Their attacks will make use of multiple Energy types. Additionally, they can’t be targeted by cards or effects beyond their Tera label. In essence, this makes their Stellar type primarily a cosmetic feature apart from Energy card costs.

All Basic Energy cards in Stellar Miracle will come with a special design intended to resemble the Terastallization aesthetic.

The price of a Stellar Miracle booster pack has been confirmed to be 180 JPY (~US$1.15) with a box coming in at 5,400 JPY (~US$35).

The Stellar Miracle Deck Build Box will be released on 19 July 2024 alongside the set itself. It will contain 10 booster packs, 171 individual cards (16 Pokémon, 53 Trainer cards, 6 Special Energy cards, and 96 Basic Energy cards), dividers, a VSTAR marker, and a card box. The price of the Stellar Miracle Deck Build Box is 4,200 JPY (~US$27).

Finally, Stellar Miracle’s acronym has been confirmed as [SV7].

[Update 11 Mar 2024] As reported by PokéBeach.com and confirmed via an image from the Shining Legends Japan eBay page, one of the deck sleeves that will be sold to accompany the release of the Pokémon TCG Stellar Miracle expansion set will feature the image of a Greninja that has Terastallized into the Fighting-type. This therefore implies that such a card will be present in the set. Check it out in the gallery and stay with us for more information!

The next Pokémon TCG expansion set release has now been confirmed. The Stellar Miracle expansion set will be launching in Japan on 19 July 2024.

This set’s name was never really in question, given the fact that Nintendo, Creatures Inc., and Game Freak filed a trademark for the name “Stellar Miracle” in January 2024. The set’s name alludes to the new Stellar type—a Pokémon type only accessible via Terastallization in the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet video games.

In the video games, Stellar-type Terastallization bestows on its user a power boost for each damaging attack—this takes place once per type in each battle, with the exception of one Pokémon. That Pokémon is Terapagos, the Legendary Pokémon that created the Stellar type according to the lore of the Pokémon universe.

As of right now, there hasn’t been any confirmation about how the Stellar type will be incorporated into the Pokémon TCG. Stay tuned for further information.

On the day of the set’s release, the Stellar Miracle Deck Box will also drop. Each Deck Box comes with 10 booster packs containing cards from the Stellar Miracle set.

Finally, on 30 August 2024, two pre-constructed decks with the working titles of “Starter Set Tera Type Stellar” will be released. Their signature Pokémon will be Stellar Sylveon ex and Stellar Ceruledge ex respectively.

Retail prices are yet to be determined—stay with us as updates come in.
